NAM
Vietnam was the first and last war to freely and openly covered by the media.  It was a first and last for censorship or lack of it, the first in colour, the emergence of the freelancer, the birth of the photo agencies and more predominantly the rise of television as the public consuming media.  It was the longest war in modern history fought as a civil conflict before becoming the first/last mega neo colonial struggle and the first the United States would lose.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka presents a multitude of faces to the world.  The Greeks and Romans wrote with wonder of fabled Taprobane; Arab Traders plied to Serendib, lured by its gems and spices; European colonizers competed for Ceylon as a coveted outpost of Empire.

10 Years After
Long after the last spasm of the Vietnam War, the day tank no. 844 trundled through the Presidential gates of Saigon after a journey of over two thousand miles, the memories and experiences o this ferocious conflict continue to haunt a whole generation.

Page after Page
Tim Page left his home in Kent when he was seventeen.  He headed for Amsterdam with his fifteen year old girlfreind, who was pregnant with twins.  She returned home but Tim stayed on the road.  That road led east to Indo China.  MORE.

Mid Term Report
Few contemporary photographers can have been so widely celebrated as Tim Page.  Everything he has done since throwing himself into the Indo-China and Vietnam of the 1960's -- 'the deep end of the pool of lfe' -- has exhibited a brilliantly idiosyncratic character all of its own.

Derailed in Uncle Ho's Victory Garden
Twenty years after the Liberation of Vietnam, the wars most celebrated photographer returns to his formative land and the dark memories it provokes.  Derailed in Uncle Hos' Victory Garden is the story of one mans odyssey through the countries that have dominated his life.

REQUIEM
Between the height of the French Indochina War in the fifties and the fall of Phnom Phen and Saigon in 1975, 135 photographers from all sides of the conflict are recorded as missing or having been killed.  This book is a memorial to those men and woman, and in many cases it includes the last photographs they took.

Mindful Moment
Tim Pages harrowing photographs of the Vietnam War brought its horrific reality before the eyes of the world.  Since then, his images of conflict in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos have been published, broadcast and exhibited and universal acclaim.
